Home Learning Spring and Summer 2020
We have been learning a new sound every day. We are thinking of words with these sounds in them and reading and writing sentences.
We have been learning to form our letters correctly as we write. Please watch the video below with your child to ensure they are forming each letter correctly.
The story we have been reading at school is all about a Tiger coming to life out of a painting. He then takes a little boy called Tom on an adventure to lots of different places. Tom is afraid at first, but gradually realises he isn't scared anymore. The story is called 'Tiger Walk'.
We have been learning about how to write sentences. The children have been focusing on using capital letters, finger spaces and full stops. We always make sure we read back what we have written to check that it makes sense. The children have written their own stories about being scared just like Tom and the Tiger.
Welcome to F2!
In our fantastic team we have class teachers Miss Illidge, Miss Bahia who job share in (F2RI) Miss Kaur (F2GK) and Mrs Lynch and Mrs Holmes who job share in F2IH. We have the wonderful support of Mrs Radwan, Mrs Wood, Mrs Immins Mrs Harrison, Mrs Patel and Miss Tulley

During the Spring term, we read the story 'Tiger Walk' by Dianne Hofmeyr.
We have enjoyed lots of things linking our learning to the story. We have found out about tigers, learnt a variety of art skills and created our very own books about our own fears.
